In the early morning tour to Abu Simbel At around 4:30 AM, our driver will pick you up for an extraordinary visit to Abu Simbel. By around 8 AM, you'll arrive at this impressive site, home to the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel, built for the illustrious King Ramesses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari. After your visit, you'll return to the cruise in time for lunch before setting sail towards Kom Ombo. you continue your journey along the Nile. After breakfast, cross the Nile to the legendary West Bank of Luxor, where the tombs and temples of ancient Thebes reveal the fascinating world of the pharaohs.
Your first stop is the Valley of the Kings, the famous royal necropolis where New Kingdom pharaohs were buried in elaborately decorated rock-cut tombs. Explore selected tombs and admire the colorful scenes depicting ancient Egyptian beliefs about the afterlife.
Continue to the spectacular Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. Built dramatically against the cliffs, this multi-level temple is one of Luxor's most distinctive monuments.
Stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous stone statues representing Pharaoh Amenhotep III.

Return to the MS Le Fayan I for lunch before the ship continues sailing south along the Nile.

After breakfast, visit the spectacular Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus. Its enormous pylons, courtyards, columns and well-preserved reliefs make it one of the most impressive surviving temples of ancient Egypt.

Return to the ship and continue sailing toward Kom Ombo.

After lunch, visit the unusual Temple of Kom Ombo, a unique double temple dedicated to two deities: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder, the falcon-headed god.

Continue to the Unfinished Obelisk, a fascinating ancient granite monument that reveals the techniques used by Egyptian stoneworkers.

Your final major visit is the Aswan High Dam, one of modern Egypt's most important engineering projects and the structure responsible for creating Lake Nasser.
