Take a Private day tour from Hurghada to see some of Egypt’s finest historic sites in the Luxor Valley. Benefit from complimentary pickup and drop-off and the services of an Egyptologist guide as you explore some of the most important landmarks of Ancient Egypt.
After pickup from your hotel, drive to Luxor to visit the most famous monuments in Egypt, including the Temple of Karnak. Relax over lunch at a local restaurant, then board a typical Felucca boat to cross the Nile to the City of the Dead (optional).
See the impressive Colossi of Memnon, the last remnants of the Temple of Amenophis III. Be enthralled by the architecture of the Valley of the Kings, and visit the temple of Hatshepsut, one of the female rulers of Ancient Egypt.
After finishing your program in this historical city, our transportation will take you back to the hotel in Hurghada.
If you plan to stay in Luxor and don’t come back to Hurghada, you need to choose the option (Shared Group with Entry Fees, One Way Transfer to Luxor)

  • The journey from Hurghada to Luxor is around 3:30 hours by minibus. It is recommended that you bring a book or prepare some music with you for the long ride.
  • If you plan to stay in Luxor and don’t come back to Hurghada, you need to choose the option (Shared Group with Entry Fees, One Way Transfer to Luxor)
  • Please provide your hotel room number as this is required by the Egyptian government regarding the COVID-19 protocol. If you do not yet know please put N/A and let the local partner know via email or WhatsApp once you do.
  • If you prefer to stay in Luxor, you must inform at least 24 hours in advance and get confirmation from your provider.

The day trip to Luxor was nothing short of fantastic. I was picked up from my hotel on time at 5am and we made the 5 hour trip to Luxor with a rest stop to use the toilet and stretch our legs. Once we got to Luxor we were met there by our wonderful tour guide Nana who was such a character and she kept the whole group engaged and laughing. She really took great care of us throughout the whole day and ensured we got the best out of the day. She was incredibly informative when explaining the history of the sites we went to see.
